I’m proud to annouce that the artgroup I’m in, Hysterical Minds, has just released it 8th pack contained great quality art for you to enjoy.
In their own words: “The Hysterical Minds artistic collective, in collaboration with the artistic community Shadowness.com, presents its eighth expression, HM8:SHADOWNESS, exhibition for which each artist has his personal vision of his darker side, through different styles and a variety of concepts, creating a disturbing set, of high quality and facing the tough challenge of raising a qualitative step in our growth dynamics, reasons why, together, we are sure you will not go unnoticed.
Focusing on a more illustrative esthetic dynamic and a dark concept, facing an art book project that will be released soon commissioned by a publishing company, we have developed this exhibit midway between the usual way of working the grupal exhibitiones of a collective on the one hand, and a similar workflow to a professional illustration studio on the other, and enhancing more than ever before in our group the constructive criticism and creative direction, putting it more difficult to ourselves.
We hope that the public understands the dual focus that will characterize the outcome of this exhibition, and that you like the fruit of our efforts.”
We have the luck to count with the artistic social media site Shadowness with will feature the full pack and will promote it across their site. Also, some of the illustrations in the pack, will hit an horror book that will be released sometime in the future (we cannot give any clues yet!).
Oh well… you might be wondering… and what about you? Don’t worry, I worked hard to create a decent contribution to this hit, entitled “Dear Darkness”, that you can discover at the bottom of this post! And don’t forget to visist the entire exhibition! 🙂
“Dear darkness… dear darkness… would you cover… would you cover me again?
Dear darkness… I have been your friend for many years…
Won’t you do this for me, dearest darkness? Won’t you cover me from the sun?
The words are tightening, tightening… around my throat.
Now it’s your time to look after us.
Because we kept you clothed, we kept you in bussines when everyone else… was having good luck.
So now it’s your time, time to pay. To pay me and the one I love with the worldly goods you’ve stashed away.
With all the things you took from us.” – PJ Harvey.
