Las Plañideras

The Alterarte festival is done every year in Murcia, were I live. It’s an urban based fest, and for a week, you can see several art performances in the street as well as other works exposed in the urban landscape.

This year, my friend Natalia Martínez along with her friends Raquel and Marta presented “Las Plañideras” (The Mourners) a theatrical act that they already introduced in the Artistic Forum of the city, and was selected for this festival. It was created and performed by themselves which is an extra point. I was so lucky to have a privilegiated place in front of the performance to make a run of more than 500 shots, of which I have selected 16 which I show you here.
