Revenge

2009 has been a very bizarre year. A lot of bullshit bloomed in my life, and I had the bad luck to be in the way of many bastards. Being a catatrophic year, I think this image, along with “2009″, is the less I can do to feel relieved from all that. It’s not like things are a lot better now, they’re still quiet, but I have my hopes put in new chances for this new year.

Apart from that… I am really lost with my creations. Sometimes I think I’ve lost my “something” and I’m afraid to do not see it again. I think I am very trapped using mostly photographic stuff for my illustrations, and I think it’s time to a painting comeback. I think I need to develop more things on my own, and not depending on photographs as the base of what I do because that’s restrictive. Let’s see what happens then. I am planning to create only paintings (maybe mixed media too) from now on, until I feel comfortable again with photomanipulation as a single artform. That doesn’t mean I won’t make manips again, it’s just a little vacation from something that now is almost routinary (:
