¿Qué es “El Partido de la Banca”? Es una performance satírica que salió de la comisión de acción de #acampadamurcia, que se suele hacer periódicamente aunque de forma distinta, pero reivindicando lo mismo: gobierne quien gobierne, la banca nunca pierde, pues ellos están tras el poder que nosotros vemos. Van por las calles dando su mensaje a la gente, pidiendo menos becas y más hipotecas, más edad para la jubilación, privatización de absolutamente todo y sin duda, más dinero para los ricos, y menos para los pobres!
What’s “The Bank Party”? It was born from the action assembly of #acampadamurcia as a satirical performance. Everybody gets dressed up as bankers and starts telling people how good the politic and economic system we have is around the streets of our city, in meetings, etc, asking them for a vote because, after all, they always win since they’re behind the powers we’re capable of seeing. What they really want: more money for the richmen, less money for the rest!
Skeletons
Performance of the Bank Party, dressed up as skeletons, spreading info to the citizens in the streets at the banks’ headquaters in Murcia and telling them about their premature burial if they trust the banks.

Why are we here? / ¿Por qué estamos aquí?
Fed up of politics, electoral laws, the crisis and above all, of the lies surrounding us coming from the mouth of the real power, the Bank, in Spain we decided that there was due time to stop this and we took the street of all the cities of our country to protest May 15th. We did a demonstration and since that, we’ve been living on the street and squares all over the country (and Europe… and even worldwide!) to protest. Luckily, and surprisingly, the movement started to run so fast and a week later we had representation in more than 300 cities all over the world, and other countries started to share the movement asking for freedom and respect in their countries such as Italy and Portugal an so on. We finished the camps at the end of June with another big demonstration with around one million citizens in the streets… But we’re still working, until everything gets fixed!
Como la mayoría sabréis, desde el 15 de Mayo de 2011 los ciudadanos indignados de España decidimos tomar las calles para protestar por un sistema político y económico que no nos representa y solo funciona para unos pocos, que nos mienten y abusan debido a la falta de información del pueblo que les vota, manejados sin duda, por las manos del poder financiero en posesión de la Banca. Para nuestra propia sorpresa, fuimos cientos de miles los que salimos a las calles en todo el país, y a partir de ahí empezamos a acampar en distintas plazas de ciudades españolas. Para nuestra sorpresa, no pasaron ni dos días cuando toda Europa se estaba uniendo a la acampada y ni una semana cuando la cosa acabo siendo a nivel mundial. Las acampadas se fueron levantando a finales de Junio junto con una gran manifestación que unió a más de un millón de ciudadanos por todas las calles del estado. Seguimos trabajando aún… hasta que esto se arregle.
